Gold

A recent resort, not so far away from home.
Falling into a lucid picture
at King's Beach, North Lake Tahoe,
where I think we found gold.

Morning view at our door

 Synchronized, the oldest two

Dancing in the clouds
a snow-capped view
laughter as my company
The millions who've seen
the wash, undo

Trampoline play in the belly of the blue

 Wandering into

the light of morning dew
tracing liquid hue,
a taste of frothy air
inside, an angel's view

  2. I love the way you interpret your experiences in life in such a wonderful way and applaud the "ooo" sound as is repeated here as though you cannot believe how beautiful it all is!

    1. This one did blow me away, we all felt a little hollow having to leave. I think that is what summer is!

  4. Lovely photos and lovely poetry to describe them. I echo Old Egg's admiration for repetition of the "ooo" sounds, whether or not you intended what we read into it.

  7. I have been to Tahoe many times and have always wanted to return. Your words and pictures are a description of a Eureka place that should be in travel brochures.

    1. I'm sure, the current is so powerful, I know that there are parts that heal and parts that we are not able to let go of.

  9. It looks as if you discovered a little bit of paradise. The water and sky are stunning. Wonderful that you had all sorts to do on it. I love your descriptions. It's all about sharing, not taking, with nature isn't it.
Glad you all had such a lovely time. :)
