M is for Mother
"Who are we?
We find that we live on an insignificant planet of a humdrum star lost in a galaxy tucked away
in some forgotten corner of a universe in which there are far more galaxies than people." -Dr. Carl Sagan
"Those who dwell among the beauties and mysteries of the Earth
are never alone or weary of life." -Rachel Carson
"The surface of the Earth is the shore of the cosmic ocean. From it we have learned most of what we know. Recently, we have waded a little out of sea, enough to dampen our toes or, at most, wet our ankles.
The water seems inviting. The ocean calls. So" -Dr. Carl Sagan

Very beautiful images. I hope you are feeling better and can visit soon. Take care.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I love the quotes. :)
ReplyDeleteI wasn't quite expecting this response to M and the title Mother. The pictures and quotes you have provided just show what a silly little people we are not to exist and preserve and explore this universe without the need to exploit and to harm the beauty that abounds around us.
