Lovely. I'm so glad you decided to continue.
I am too! Thanks for the support!
Out of all the wonderful poems you have posted this one really gets to me. My all time favorite. We as women universally must find our voices. Men scream of war and greed, women speak softly of peace and compassion or not at all. I am putting your poem over my desk to remind me even if the world never writes back, speak up Debra speak up! Thank you my firend.
Debra, you are beautiful!
That's a very nice poem. I think our voice has to be genuine. We shouldn't change just to be noticed.
True, or to hold on to something that is not truly ours. Thanks for visiting!
How touching your writing is, especially when it is presented in such a small, pure, calm, voice. I loved it too how you address the mad world with those initial letters of each verse. We all know it and our united small voices can effect change.
You always read with your thoughts so clear. Thank you.
Reminds me of Emily Dickens...the world that never wrote to me and all that. Lovely!
Exactly the inspiration. She modeled a message to the world so simply.
The opening verse is so breath taking - what a big question for a small voice..eternal..universal..beautiful..Jae (thank you for following also)
Thank you, Jae. And, of course, happy to follow!
Yes, what everyone else said. Breathtaking.
Thanks for catching up. Love you!
